okay, so fill me in exactly where we are at. I read the enitre thread and its a bit vauge.
Do we have a mould?
Why do you need a spoiler mule vehicle? Is this a direct copy or a cut and shut job?
Pm me if you wish to discuss it further.
I'll just say straight off the bat I dont own a staz boo hiss
I actually own a sigma turbo which is why I hang around here for parts and info.
Anyhow what I'm saying is if there needs to be any test fitting an Adelaide member might need to lend their vehicle for some measurements etc.

It's good vr4cd that you've asked the questions, so I'll now clarify for all and sundry...
Basically if you've ever looked closely at the factory spoilers they are a little rough with the way that they are mounted on the car and have slight 'imperfections' in them due to material shrinkage from the factory mould.
If you look down the length of the side pieces you will see what I mean...
The plan is to get them to fit more snugly to the body and ideally remove the imperfections in the duplicated product (yes it's a direct copy but why not make them a bit better?).
I trust that clears it up. There's more info available here too:

Thanks SK. I have this on my agenda for Easter, been on my mind but that's the only place I've done work on it this year. :glare:
