i know that the focus of this thread is all about the low stance of your car.. but i like your bonnet vents more than anything.. are they functional or purely for looks?

Haha... there is no focus in this thread at all.

The vents are functional. I got this hood modified that way for free!! The guy had it sitting for quite a while, and I also had it for over a year and all it needed was a good buffing. I'm not sure what the vents are from.

i like the idea. i have a spare scoopless bonnet that i'm planning to put cosworth style vents into - a bit forward of the location they are in on your bonnet, sort of just behind the radiator fans.

No death threats please.. i'm not defacing a JB or JD bonnet.. it's from a US widey :)

They do look similar to JDM VR4 vents... but they aren't those.

The bonnet-vents look something like Ford Escort Cosworth ones but wider...

the holden commodore (i think vy onwards.. the round ones basically) was badged the chevy lumina in the states for a while..
