ACL part number for 3 bolt TC06 downpipe flange gasket

Post by dirtygalant »

hey guys am trying to track down the metal flange gasket for the turbo downpipe from a TC06 with the 3 bolt flange (ie JA/JB Starion, FWD Sigma Turbo, AA/AB Cordia Turbo).

I was supplied an ACL LA133 but it is too small, it is the right shape but just shrunken about 10-20% - looks to be for a TC05 perhaps?

A permaseal gasket part number would be cool too if someone has it on hand.

Cheers!
Phil

*edit* I just tried the LA133 against two TC05s I have and even then the gasket is still too small, perhaps the gasket is even for a TC04? But it's definitely listed in the ACL NZ catalog for the 1.8L Turbo Cordia and Turbo Starions.

VL commodore turbo dump pipe to exhaust system 3 bolt gasket is the perfect size, only thing you have to do is cut a flat on the bottom to miss the wastegate cover plate on the starion turbo.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

even easier.... over the weekend i brought some sheet metal exhuast gasket paper for 10 bucks.... just use tin snips to get your pattern and todo so just cut out a piece small enough to get down there and use a small mallet to indent the shape you want.

done the silly wastegate plate as well

I done this cause nowhere had a listing for it, and I have a tc06 instead of tc05

yeah ironically the only listing for that flange gasket was in the permaseal catalog, and it crossed over to an ACL part number.

The gasket cost ~$6 so didn't deem it worth the hassle to cut my own one :P
