Well didnt like the yellow colour that was supposed to be Evo 7 yellow that i originally sprayed the rocker cover.
So got it stripped, and sent it off to be done by my painter instead.
Picked it up today and much better :beer

Well been awhile since i did an update, car has been coming along slowly but surely.
Have installed a new Nissan brake master cylinder.
Last week or so has been spent attaching bolt ons to long block, as well as a bit of modifying oil return on sump and few other lil things.
Have also been fiddling with a bracket for the power steering pump, as well as trying to sort out water pump pulleys and rebuilding the alternator with new bearings and brushes too. Power steer pump mount is proving to be a pain in the a$$!
Heres a pic of where im at at the mo anyway:
Also have finally got the brake brackets done for the Nissan 4 pot calipers im using. Will let the pics tell the story :) alot of R and D and trial and error in the brackets but im nearly happy with them :)

Nice! what rotors are you using, and are you able to get more brackets made up? I don't suppose Mitsi GTO 4 pot calipers share the same caliper bolt spacing as the Nissan 4 pots do they?

DG yeap i will be getting more brackets made up as these are just MK 1, im not totally happy with them so will do another version soon.
Rotors are standard sized starion ones from R1 Concepts in the USA.
Allan, thanks for the pics. Unfortunately ive got the alternator going down where the AC used to be so gotta find a way to mount it on the other side below the water pump somehow. Just gonna be whole lot of trial and error i think.
