WTB: Radio Panel

Post by Aero-R »

I'm looking for the black radio panel that came for the 2DIN radio model. Just that little panel/faceplate that surrounds the radio and that comes with a little "pocket" area below. Mine is just broken at two points due to bad manipulation by a mechanic, and I don't want to see those 2 little damages on it since I'm finishing a complete restoration of my Starion, so I'm looking for a MINT CONDITIONS unit (no scratches, no color damage, no bended areas). It's mounted with 6 screws behind, but the screws are not needed.

As illustration, I've uploaded a picture of the current radio panel I'm using at my Starion, and a basic drawing I've done to show exactly the piece I'm talking about:

Nice pic man, very artistic!
No seriously, there are car vinyl and leather repair people who can do trim pieces and make them look factory and better than new.
You might be best to check that option out.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

Thanks for your support enthuzed. And yeah I know, in fact one guy suggested me to do a carbon-fiber piece, but I wanted the factory one so that's why I asked here. In fact, buying a second-hand factory one would be cheaper, so that's why I tried asking here just to see if I could get one unit or not (I want it too because I want to match that glossy black finish the car has).

Then I'll think about the other options. Thanks for the suggestion : )

Dude, hard to get in unmolested condition. Get it repaired, only you will know that it has been done.

Yes, hard, but not impossible so at least I try.

The reason I didn't repair is because of the paint finish it has, it won't end with the same finish. So lets see if anyone appears.

Thanks trash for your support, I saw those time ago. They seem to be very well made, but I'm looking for the stock one since I'm going to leave my unit totally stock.

Anyone?
