3 piece wrap around style wing JD/Aerotech on VE Commodore

Post by TOMSUN »

I was driving to work this morning and over took a white VE Commodore which had a 3 piece wrap around style wing like a JD or Aerotech. The whole car had a "drag style" body kit... He was checking my car out, probably thinking... hey that wing looks just long mine! I wich I could have got a photo.

Anyone else seen that kit?

The only kit that I have seen similar to it is the "blue meanie" kit that went onto the VE that some of the Holden dealers have put together (Bill Patterson Holden in Melbourne I think). Its based on the old Brock Group 3 kit from the VH series. I like it, toughens the VE right up, especially with the bonnet scoop and Irmscher wheels.

Saw a white one at WSID last Wednesday with [HDT-70L] plates. Even had the 'SS' stickers .I think they are great. :D They make all the HDT variants:

That was it. It had the side skirts and bonet bulge as well but a different grill that was 80% filled in. It did look unique, but it was the wrap around wing that got my attention first.

i dunno, i won't really like the wraparound spoiler on the new commodores.. they look too small compared to the size of the car, which is freakin gianormic.

They looked awesome on the old vh and vks though
