Big thanks to Shannon for getting this off the ground and to Hoonie for suggesting a fool proof route/destination..... which went something like "meet at the pub at Rouse Hill, turn right at the pub at Windsor and stop at the pub at Wisemans". Idiot proof. LOL

Good to catch up with you all the old faces and meet some new ones. Cars looked good, behaved themselves and all in all a great day.

Was a great day and yes, great to catch up with some old and new faces :)

Some very nice pics there, too.

I've got the itch.....

Now that was a cruise. Racked up just under 250 kms. Good roads, great weather and the company wasn't bad either. :P

cruising 3 wide on the freeway was a buzz (I don't get out much)

looking forward to the next cruise

hoonie... those pictures are professional grade shit!

tomsun.. perhaps it's time to revive that track day thread ;)

the roads were fantastic - albeit a bit narrow at times, but oh so much fun.. this is perhaps the first time i've let my car stretch its legs a bit since the tc went in, and i'm glad to say it behaved and handled alright :beer

hope everyone else had as good a time as i did!

Had a lovely afternoon and the weather and roads were fantastic. I did over 300km, so was good for the Staz to stretch her legs a little.

Yep ixnay was responsible for the 100 or so pics taken out the side of the car whilst we were driving - I told him to shoot as many as possible so we'd get some gems :)

Some good ones there - if anyone wants the hires from the camera of their cars just let me know.

Hoonie, I'd love that one you took of Maries car all those years ago going down to Wakefield. The one with the early morning sun glinting off it. I cant find it amongst all the cd's of photos we have. if you have it still (accessible) and can flick it on to me in electronic format I'd be stoked.

Thanks so much to everyone for turning up and making a fantastic day. Big special thanks to Mal, for letting me actually drive a starion to a cruise for a change  . I can't explain how good it made me feel to be behind the wheel of a widey, on a sunny day with some twisty roads. The more i drove the auto widey, the more it began to grow on me. It really suits cruising, and with the new springs and shocks you forget just how fast you are actually going. The 2.6 auto combo works much better than i ever expected.

I will put up some pics after i catch up on some sleep :glare:

Thoroughly enjoyable day! Great to catch up with fellow staz members! Great weather and great cruise through an area I haven't been before (north west on the outskirts of Sydney).

However, it would be nicer to see more of the NSW members come out!! And more starions!! :D

Agreed Mal... I will put a Bathurst cruise thread up soon, so people can get there shit together for the next one.

On a side note i will be down at my place on sunday getting my widey out of the garage for the first time in 14 months  I had to cut a bunch of trees just so i can get it out. If anyone wants to come down feel free.
