The other question is; In my sitchuation is the dual runner manifold going to be any benefit over the std unit? I just need to shove as much fuel and air in the combustion chamber, as fast as poss.
When I can afford it, I will go for one of the hypertune units, but for now, one of these will do.

from what i've heard (i wouldn't rely on this without some level of testing shown), the cyclone intakes with the split runners and butterflies were designed by mitsu to boost midrange performance over the standard manifold.. it would possibly be more of a restriction up top than the n/a manifold.. if all you're doing is drag, you're playing in the upper rev range only, and so the cyclone intake will net you a loss of some peak hp perhaps.
This is all theory and it makes sense, but i have not seen any tests such as back to back dyno runs etc to prove it or otherwise.

Since you will have to move the inlet you might as well enlarge the plenum. Not that much extra work...

Small update.
Hopefully will start stripping the car this weekend.
But I spoke to my diff & box guy today. He said the std diff should be good for about 500 - 600 h/p, aslong as i'm using x-ply slicks and not using the transbrake.

It's allready an lsd. A mate of mine has some spare centre's etc at his house that I am taking off his hands. (He used to have a starion diff in his 3700lb 10sec rotary corona)
I'm going to pull it out, give it to glen (diff trans) to go over and do to it, what ever he see's fit.

the only problem you will have is twisting the splined end off the axles where they go into the side gears, this almost always comes about after axle tramp, so make sure u run some REAL good quality rear shocks.

Tape Measure came out the other day. The decision has been made to toss the IRS setup in the bin and a 4-Link welded in place.
Diff will be the bluebird diff that did multiple 8.xx passes in Rocco's Rx-7, before going to the floater. Have ordered a set of spax double adjustable coil overs for the rear.
Front end will be going to a custom 5 stud setup, because I have ordered some of these:

Yeah, the Ford offset is more common.
Plus the rotors I think I will need will fit over the hub, but DBA keep them in a blank hat, so I can get them drilled easily.
