The Trust manifold didn't have any extra bracing to cope with weight, which I suspect is part of the reason it cracked the first time.
When I removed it to fix it last time, I had it all welded up, and some extra bracing added.
The manifold cracked again because it's thin crap.
It did crack in an unrepaired section, so if I can't find a suitable replacement, I'll just have my exhaust guy cover the entire manifold in weld.
This time it cracked right where it attaches to the head.
VERY FUGGIN annoying!
It's quite a B I G job to remove, and I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do it again...

Well I finally got my new manifold...
4mm steampipe, a lot heavier, and made locally.
Unfortunately the measurements are a fraction out, so right at this very moment the dump pipe, wastegate return pipe, and one of the intercooler pipes are being lined up so that they fit properly.
Don't you just hate it when stuff is so close, but just not close enough..?
I've also finally had a flexi joint added to the dump pipe, and I've replaced the old rigid oil feed line, with a flexible braided line...
She's not licenced for WA at the moment, but after I wire up a hazard switch, replace the driver's seatbelt, and do a general tidy up, it'll be off to the pits to get inspected and hopefully licenced.

So an update.
Car went over the pits about a month back, and failed.
Reasons;
1. Too low
2. Park lights not working
3. Horn not working
4. OEM seats and seatbelts in car when car was previously licenced as a 2 seater
5. Non standard front brakes without permit
6. Oil leaks
7. They couldn't find the VIN placard.
8. Right rear braided brake line has had braiding completely worn off. Was wearing on right axle shaft!
So 1,2,3 & 8 are corrected.
VIN placard is in driver's doorjam, but as this was previously a left hand drive vehicle, they found it too hard to find.
Brakes and seatbelts are pending approval.
Oil leaks will be corrected as soon as I get the car back from the auto-electrician.
Needs a new gel battery, and a new alternator.
The previous alternator was wired up incorrectly, and boiled the battery!
The alternator also has a leaking diode, and the cost of repairing isn't worth it.
I'm really starting to regret buying this car. :(
It looked so good, and went so hard, and I got completely sucked in.
Too many things are requiring attention, and the costs are just building up.
I knew it wasn't going to be perfect, but I didn't expect it to be this much work, or to cost this much money.
Oh well, I shall soldier on.
On a positive note, I did manage to score an all black interior for it, so I can replace the bits that are burgundy/crappy black painted.

To try and cheer you up... Remember you got it at a fraction of what it cost to get it to the stage it was at. No, not cheap, but your still in front. Hang in there, modified cars are a test of will power and cash... (you needs lots of both). But when you're finished with it, you'll now the car and you will be able to call it your own.

Nah they didn't bat an eyelid at what was under the bonnet because the original engineering report contained all of it. Luckily.

What's the story to your rego rules in Aussie? To us simple rego kiwi folk it's very confusing. If you buy a car while living in one state and chose to move permantly to another state and take it with you do you have to start the registration again from the beginning in the new state as just opposed to paying a new fee for the next period?
