Well done 2000_turbo!
Thats how I want the runners to go on the manifold Ill make. But Ill move the turbo farward and at an angle a bit.
How thick is the tube that manifold is made from? I have heard that some of the aftermarket manifolds around are a little on the thin side.

Must be good tho. Lasted this long with no problems... :beer

yeah thats how ixnay did his afaik :)

i didnt cut the runners off i just cut the tab at each end of the manifold and swapped them end for end so it made the runners be a top mount instead of bottom so u dont even have to cut the runners and re-weld them all...

quite simple what i did if you have some metal work skills and you have a angle grinder/welder

no i dont, i only have pics of the manifold on the engine but the easiest way to explain it is to get the manifold and gasket and just flip the manifold and gasket so that the manifold will be top mount when the gasket is still mounting the stock way on the head then bolt the two together and then mark the 2 end tabs cut then reweld on oposite ends they will all line up using the gasket as a template then drill the extra holes need to mount the manifold. make sense to everyone?

I have seen this done, it works well. I have also seen people mount an adapter plate directly between the manifold and head.
