Drives great all issues fixed

Post by Vulpes »

Well I think I may actaully finally be finished. All my heating problems are fixed, the turbo is new and the engine is all good. I believe it may actually be ready for a good run. I took it to Bilpin for those who know sydney area its in the mountains. It went fantastic. Hopefully Mal and I are going for a drive in the mountains tomorrow morning.

Come on, we know that's not true.

"all issues" are never fixed on a Starion.

It's what gives them their character.

To get to that side of town by 8, i'd have to be up by 6am.. not happening :P

Let's have another Sydney cruise already!! Parra Maccas anyone? ;)

Actually, wait until I get my exhaust fixed, or I won't be able to get into the carpark :(

Rather than a maccas tour again, how bout we head out to Wisemans ferry & can have lunch at the pub?

Had a ride out there on the weekend and it was a lovely spot.

Sounds good Kath, had to laugh at my "all issues fixed" post. Gerbox is currently out, diff is being removed, new clutch and gearbox going in tomorrow. So much for reliabilty I was lucky to get home from Wisemans on thursday.

thrash, roads in bilpin is a great road but heavily policed as its the main road west to bathurst etc. If you get slow traffic it sucks too.

The drive through the upper mountains is definitely Starion territory. Great windy roads and hill climbs. Boost comes in very handy!!

The drive last week was a wet one though. Here's a pic of a couple of Starions in the mist!
