Vulpes you will find that you cant get new Simmons wheels as they have shut up shop and as far as i am aware they havent sold the rights for someone else to produce. You will have to look at companies like work for your 2/3 piece rims. Pcd is 4 x 114.3 offset depends on how wide you go, tomsun has a post of what rims fit.
OMG!!! SIMMONS WHEELS HAVE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!

It was only about 2 weeks after I bought my simmons that they announced they were closing.
Vulpes - are you willing to roll your guard lips? I had 16x8 & 16x9 V4s on my JB (don't know offset) with 225/50 tyres. In my opinion one of the best looking wheels for a narrow body. I look forward to the results.

Rear: 16x9 +12 offset... Tyres 255/45/16 to match factory rolling diameter
Guards might need rolling depending how low the lower the car...

Big dish is awesome, but I've seen some pics of 16x9 v4's on starions and in my opinion most havn't gone low enough in they're supension to do that wide a rim justice. If your only going for a moderate sport lowered supension I think 8's on the rear look better, better balanced and not as balloony (I made that word up). If your going to slam it then yeah, wide as can fit :D
I would also maybe suggest 16x8 +10 with 225/50, which is the same as benders white rota grids and my rota rb-r's which would give better guard clearance at the front. My rota's still have a good amount of dish.

Mine are Rota RB-R 16x8 +10 with hyperblack centres/machined lip.
I don't have tyres yet but took some photos of 1 wheel trial fitted just after they arrived.I bought these from the US Rota distributor and had them shipped to WA direct. With a good exchange rate at the time they were AU$1300 shipped air freight.
I'll probably go for the 225/50 Kuhmo ku36 tyres, but won't get them fitted until Redzone comes up with the coilover kit or I can get my hands on another set of struts to do the mr2 insert trick, suspension is currently stock original.

The balloony look is usually because of the tyre choice rather than the fact its a 9inch wide rim. You can fit up to a 0 offset with an 8 inch wide rim up the front. I've tried fitting 8 inch wide rims at the front with a -15 offset, while it sat flushed to the guard it would rub even with just 205/50 tyres on them.jk wrote:Big dish is awesome, but I've seen some pics of 16x9 v4's on starions and in my opinion most havn't gone low enough in they're supension to do that wide a rim justice.
