Righto, now have a twincam vr4 head. Complete. All the oil pump shit and pulleys and brackets to go with it.

It needs an overhaul, but meh. Cheaper than repairing mine. There's a few manifolds lying around the shop and my best mate is an awesome sheetmetal worker.

I'll have to create a new thread now... Pigma v3 - Stroker twincam.

Price is right. Yeah, pity you didn't continue sorting the tough SOHC setup.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?

Yeah i can see where you guys are coming from. But after rebuilding this many times i may as well go all out...

On another note, the bloke who flow tested the manifolds thinks its a block related problem. With the way the water flows through etc.

Has anyone here ever tuned with 4 bungs welded into your exhaust manifold for an O2 sensor? Like done 4 runs with the O2 sensor moved each time?
And then just tuned the car to the leanest cylinder?

i would think that's overkill for most of us mortals here.. but in your case it might be worthwhile?

I may be wrong but a head change does not require a blue plate? Only a complete engine block change so I have been told.

Steve my engineer has approved it with "LA1 OPTION3 FITMENT OF 2.3 LITRE TWIN CAM TURBOCHARGED ENGINE COMPLETE WITH INTERCOOLER"
correct me if i'm wrong but didn't your widey come with a 2.6 ?? so you may need it plated for the 2.0 litre and you will need a cat if the new motor originally had one

Yes my widey has full blue plate approval as it has a complete change. However as far as that goes they have no idea which engine was or was not imported in mine as it is a 'Jackie Chan limited edition special'. Comes with the twin cam 2.0 litre mill!

Don't need a blue plate for an additional cam (nor MPI, intercooler, bigger turbo).
GroupARalliart - mines a Jackie Chan Special too! Stock with 18x8.5 & 10" rims and coil-overs. What are the odds of 2xJCS's in the country.

I think that my certifier covered all the bases incase I ever get asked to pop the hood by the boys in blue .Hopefully that won't happen as I tend to drive in a way that doern't attract unwanted attention.
Some unkind people say I drive like a geriatric old aged pensioner
