EU spec Starion, basic model

7's, thought so. My red widebody had the same centre console with the little door under the stereo. :)

I'd like your manual window gear!!!

I'm guessing the shipping would be a killer but I will take a few photos when I get home later next month (in Aussie at the mo, car in NZ) just in case someone is able to recognize parts from other mitsi models and is able to replicate it.

It'd be worth looking at a Scorpion/Sapporo setup as they share the long doors and have a similar profile. I'd also look at the good ol' Sigma. My 2 cents worth...

University of New England in Armidale, NSW going my PhD in Genetics...

There was a starion floating around town when I first arrived but I haven't seen it for a couple of years. Its ironic that I own 2 cars (inc staz) yet have only spent 8 months in the same country as them in the last 4.5 years.

A naturally-aspirated version known as the GX was also built for the Japanese market, however production ceased in 1983 due to low sales figures. The Starion GX had no power windows, no air conditioning, no independent rear suspension, no fuel injection and did not have power-assisted steering.

I found a Japanese spec sheet here somewhere and my car is almost exactly like a GSR-I.

I have seen one of these in a wrecking yard in NZ (Gore) - I got the windscreen out of it. Live axle rear, flat bonnet, cloth trim.

my car is almost exactly like a GSR-I.

I had a non turbo GX years and years ago. Went quiet well considering the non turbo and carb'ed donk. I bought it from the south of the South Island for a few hundred dollars in good going condition :D

Ive also had a few GSR I's. One of them was crashed by a member of this forum who shall remain unnamed.... :(
