EU spec Starion, basic model
EU spec Starion, basic model
I'm new here, so I thought I would show you my Starion. I bought this car for around 1100 AUD(converted from HUF).
The car doesn't have power steering, ABS, intercooler, A/C or any extra.
Power windows are installed by one of the previous owners.
VIN JMBA183AMDZ... ...
Since I bought it I changed the scratched drivers side window, changed the windshield, installed parking brake cables, fixed the lights switch, changed tyres and fiddled with a lot of little things.
Sorry for picture quality, I only have my phone to take pictures with.
Engine bay is a little untidy here but I don't have a newer picture of it.
Parts car (bought it for approx. 240 AUD), interior is filled with other Starion and Mitsubishi parts:

On the site I put these pictures originally it's recommended not to show the real number plates, there are a lot of thieves around here.thrash wrote:love the wheels on the red one.. and the number plates lol
I would be happy if I had these plates in real life, because maybe more people would know that this is a Mitsubishi Starion. I get a lot of questions about the car, most people never even heard of it which is not suprising, you could never buy a Starion here when it was new.
The wheels on the red car may be worth more than the car. They are Advans from the group B Lancer turbo.

You've got Scorpion/Sigma seats (or whatever you call them over there) and an ejector seat button for your annoying passenger LOLKrorz wrote:

I think the steering gear ratio is not the same because the steering is pretty easy despite the lack of power steering. So the power steering has one advantage at least, you have to turn the wheel less to turn the car.crshbndct wrote:would give my right nut for non power steering.
starion p/s sucks
it sucks that the non power steering version has the same round the world bensdy pipe to the maf..
And the power steering isn't THAT bad is it? What's so good about the non power steering version? Also, the sigma/scorpion non-power steering boxes can go on can't they?

What width are the wheels? The rim looks wider than the works LT. The Dymags on the works Starion came in many widths, so I suppose the Advans had the same deal. Should say on a spoke.
