L200 boxes

Post by bridgey »

Is it possible for the box from a 4g63 l200 to bolt up to a 4g54 motor?

As long as the 4G54 block was a factory RWD manual it will fit.

No good for an RWD auto block and no good with any FWD Magna blocks.

Must be 330mm between the dowls for a 4G63

( Ignore the 310mm spacing in the pic. That is for RWD 4G54 auto blocks and all 4G52 blocks, as well as FWD Magna blocks used in RWD vehicles)

You'll definately need to measure, everything I have read about the L200 has the 4g63 version running a Narrow Block (like sigma's) and the 4G54 version (like mine) running the Wide Block.
