Good site, been reading it for a while.

Oh and those european spectators  imagine trying to race and driving blind through a crowd hoping they all get out of the way.....flucking kwankers.

yeah those stupid european spectators are the reason group B got banned. they think they're at pamplona or something...

if only the FIA had imposed spectator controls instead of banning group B, the AWD starion might have had time to kick some audi and lancia ass!

The Henri Toivonen crash was in a list of reasons they canned Group B. Shame, it produced some monsters. I've driven one of the works Lancer EX Turbo Group B cars. It's a bit fruity. :D

My wife is at work so I can play it at full volume :D this is the real "Fast & Furious "and I can only aspire to have a fraction of the absolute commitment and skill of those drivers :) :beer
IMHO WRC drivers are better than drivers in any other form of motorsport

Yeh. I organised a rolling road day for us lot with Lancer Turbos and Starions. My mate owned the Lancer and was coming anyway, so I invited Danny with the Starion and rang Retro to cover the day. The rolling road day was covered in a seperate issue. We had a year where I got a Lancer turbo or Starion in every month. Do you have many issues of the old Retro Cars? I did an 8 page Starion buyers guide with one of mine and got the cover with my old Lancer Turbo.

They're the same as any pro, they just have to take off the limiter and endure a roll or two.
:beer

second on the driver death being group b death, I thought a lancia delta flew into a tree killing the driver and co driver, obviously the power being too much for the "best drivers in the world". If its there they are going to punch it. WHAT ABOUT THE TREES?!

The real shame is that Group B got canned before starions were commonplace in it
87 GSR-V, Factory DASH, Rebuilt bottom end with arp rod bolts and balance shafts removed, head reconed with 3 angle valve grind, TD05 housing machined out to take Garrett T4 internals, rebuilt and cryoed gearbox
