I'll be in it, if I happen to be over east at the time. However, I don't think I'll be able to bring either of my Staz'z, unless I can stow it in my overhead compartment

I will check with a friend of mine who goes on his car club's national meet. I'll find out venue etc cos they have track time, motorkhana and the like. They also pay membership and are CAMS affiliated so hiring a track etc is , I assume, a little easier than us shmoes walking up and saying, can we have a go.

I rather like the idea of a track day held each year, but in a different state at a different track each year. But when it comes to having to go to WA, could we maybe fold Oz in half to make the trip shorter?

I think we should goto a different venue every year. I was thinking along the lines of it being a long weekend event. One day at the track.. an evening out where we could have awards we could all vote on for say "most mods done this year", "most money spent this year", "biggest engine failure this year" etc etc.

And then another day just spent say going for a leisurely cruise.

By biggest engine failure do you mean who's car went bang the best or who goes through the most engines? I'm going for that award
