Yeah, I think it was 4th gear. Keep in mind though that Im using the Mazda gearbox. From memery they are a little taller geared than the starion box.

Just a little update on the beast :)
Ive had the brakes sorted out. Turns out I was missing the reaction pad. What ever that is. But now the brakes are just as they should be :)

Ive also had the speedo recalabrated. Im not sure what they did. But couldn't have been much as it was under $150 for that and moding the rev counter so it would work with the Link computer.

The car is now in getting the mod cert done so it can be street legal :D

Bought some Carbon Fibre Vinyl off Trade Me the other day and this is what I did with it.

And got some little carbon fibre mirrors

The mirrors stick up a little to much for my liking so Ill get the upright part of the metal rod shortened. Apart from that Im quiet happy with them.

Yeah Ive got some US widebody ones but liked the look of these beta. You dont see much though. If your on the race track I dont think they would be big enough... Need to keep an eye on all the other cars behind you :)

Thanks guys!!!!
Im very happy with how they came out :)

Heres a pic to show how I attached them into place.

Show Image: Image

I just taped a thread into some metal tabs I made up and welded them into place. Seems like so long ago when I put them there...
