It aint! The original owner, Jaboy, had a series II spare parts car which he used some parts to upgrade...
The roof antenae and centre consol show that it's from a series I.

I wish someone would just put a JB type throttle body and grab some new injectors from ebay to get this thing fixed!!
Imports.

Jaboy has wanted to buy it back ever since I bought it off him, I wanted to sell it 6 months ago, but his circumstances have changed, so I've been holding onto it for him....
Any more info on putting a JB set up on it?
I had the poo's with it before, but now I hate having it just sitting there in the corner looking :(

aha it fooled me! lol

simply purchase a JB injection manifold and rebuild kit (which i can help you out with ;) ), and purchase a pair of new 850cc 87 starion injectors from that guy on ebay USA, modify the injector wiring for the bosch style clips, then bob's your father's sister..

different but will still run. there are a million different part numbers for starion ecu's

the only variable is the type 2 intake has a 5mm smaller throttle body but that didnt seem to affect the one i did it to..

Met Trent at MRC the other day when I dropped by MRC. He's a really nice guy - his cousin knows a wee bit about tuning and building strong motors

This car is way better than the pics showed. It is a really sweet ride and one of the cleanest, straightest Starions I've seen. A bit of tidy up in the interior that he has planned (front seats mainly) and this is a very very very good original condition car.

Welcome aboard Trent :beer
