My Widey rims on the narrow..

Post by STARZILA »

Im quite pleased so thought id load sum pics!

I stripped the clear off them and made a start on polishing them....untill I got a sore arm

7 fronts and 8 rears.
Just needs lowering and a wheel alignment, as it looks a bit queer

Might have a play with some different tyre widths and profiles too.

Yep they are what should have come on the car from the factory.

My cars slightly lowered and have no chance of the rears not rubbing, so need front 8's which I assume will be hard to get.

So I'm back to the stock wheels which I hate.

Dan, the 8" shps arent too hard to come by from the states still, just shipping thats the killer. Should be able to get 2 landed here for $500NZD or so

I was wondering the same thing... :beer

Any chance of a rear shot to see if they fit completely under guard??

16x7 all round wouldn't be a bad thing as they are an awesome looking wheel, especially refurbished!!

need to get some tyre stretch and some negative camber going on there! - the rear of my Eterna seems to just swallow up 16x8 0mm offset rims with 205/50s

if it's a street car i reckon it looks perfect. I wouldn't lower it or change the tyres, just leave it exactl like that.

still reckon these wheels suit the starion the best.. any starion :)

Yeah -10 rears and 18 fronts. Im pretty sure it wont rub with the 205 50's on the rear as theyre slightly stretched and they should tuck under when its lowered :P

+1 for lower front and rear, though the rears look like you'll have to be a little conservative due to offset/guard lip.

These rims really do look oustanding for standard issue (though not this model admit), and I think white on a starion is just classic (biased owner?)
This car has the makings of a "real" street classic, goodluck.
