Rota RB 17X8.5 plus 4

Post by redzone »

is a perfect fitment...

stacks of proper dish, clearance of about 10mm inside the guard lip at ride height on the front, and 10ish mm to the front strut on the inside. would recommend 225/45/17 front and up to a 245/40/17 on the rear.

Fazza aka Dr Death on these forums just ordered a set from me, i test fitted one on my JB when he picked them up. pics of the front:

they're a bit over $1300.

afaik these are the only decent size 17's you can buy new that arent 3 piece.
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

Hmmm track car wheels for bigger brakes :D
Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

That's interesting :( I tried them in my Sigma and the rears fit fine but the fronts stuck out too far. That was a 17x7.5 with a +4 offset.

They look like they sit a bit too far out on the front.
Could just be my perception of the photos though...

yeah you dont get the perspective without the tyres on, thats why i mentioned they sit 10mm inside the guard lip..

remember i had a 17X9 zero offset on mine with a little neg camber, these are smaller of course and sit in further.
