This is Jason in Christchurch, probably the only one you are likely to find up for sale in NZ.

Typing LSD in the buy/sell section here will get you about 3 million hits to this thread. Starion LSD's are very hard to come by. There doesn't appear to be any direct replacement units and therefore the existing LSD's are bringing good money.

If you find one, snap it up before someone else does!

No worries mate!

The small units are now much harder to get than the large(4 bolt) and more 'widely' available large 6 bolt LSD's.

With $ up, the large can be got for a $grand. Name your price on a good small LSD!!!

If i was in your position i would be getting the centre from jas, otherwise the states is your best bet. Assuming that you still have the large diff housing on it you can save money by not having to ship the torque tube and the diff housing.

Get it rebuilt - parts from a single spinner can be used depending on what's stuffed. E.g crown wheel and pinion gears are interchangeable. The key is to get someone that knows how to rebuild them properly as there is a minor size difference between the crown wheel and from memory it needs to be shimmed. But then you'd do that anyway when redoing the clutch packs. Suddenly looks like a more palatable option perhaps? :)
In a nutshell: Finding a good diff guy should be less rare than finding a diff!!

I read somewhere they're the same centre as 10-bolt Scorpion and EX Lancer turbo diffs? In which case you used to be able to get new LSD's from Cusco, not sure if you still can though.
