more info?

Post by 13bsigma »

hi all. bee nreading all the posts on twin cam conversions. still after mroe info if i can.

i want to put a VR4 engine into my sigma. the sigma has a 5 speed jap box.

question 1.
wanting to run standard ecu. can it be done or will i need after market ecu as i will need an after market inlet and exhaust manifolds.

question 2.
the engine will bolt up to the gearbox. but with regards to the water pump and cam angle sensor. they hit the fire wall dont they? what are my options there?

question3.
can i just cut and swap the inlet manifold to suit RWD or will i need a full aftermarket one? i know i will need custom exhaust mani. thats ok. what will i be looking at in $$$ for the inlet mani with either cutting and swapping or after amrket one.

question 3.
are there any other issues i'm going to have with my conversion that i haven't mentioned so far?

thanks for any info guys. it'll be muchly appreciated.
