1) clean the faces you are sealing spotlessly, and spray with brake cleaner
2) apply loctite 515 or 518 to one flange.
3) reassemble
4) relax and enjoy a cold (warm? LOL) beer

garaget.org is one of Skandinavias biggest sites for us car-nerds, would be called "The Garage" in Englishisch.
In the upper right corner there is a searchfield "sök" which can be used for... erh.... searshing!
LOTS of nice cars!!! Lots of Volvo's to, but you don't HAVE to look at'em!+
Hi there,
Thanks for the replies,
I made a paper gasket that's on there at the moment, however I didnt have an old one to go off, so I am not sure if it's holes are correct, I just did the cut-outs to match the top of the IM.
Cant just use RTV because it has coolant channels running past the butterfly,
and no stores in england stock it!!!

lol
loctite 515 or 518 is better than a gasket anyways. it is an anerobic sealer, it can be left for days and wont go off unless it has pressure/lack of air. put it on lightly and you wont have any dramas with it oozing into the coolant channels. any passages that need to be blocked off are done so by the manifold face.
it is also a shitload easier to clean off than a gasket
