Undelivered goods

Post by Ashgan »

Hey guys,

Just wondering what i should do about some undelivered goods from a fellow forum member? I made the payment of approx. $300 and it's been a month now but still nothing. What's more is that he has stopped responding to IM's and Emails.

A month is a little long but hey - i understand that sometimes Starion stuff takes a back seat to your life. I mainly just wish he'd kept me in the loop.

Any suggestions as to what i should do? I'm just getting a little anxious - is all.

-Ash
Friends call me Ashgan or Ash... But you can call me failchanic. If there's a routine maintenance job that exists on a starion, then chances are i've failed at it.

First attempt fails include:
-Changing indicator light
-Changing spark plugs
-Changing belts
-Changing airfilter
-Changing oil
-Removing rear strut
-Replacing front strut

Actually if you look at the original for sale thread its most likely been a month.

As for the problem, try contacting the seller on cordiapower, i believe he is on there too.

^^^ what Derek said. Give him the final courtesy of a PM and tell him you are going to give him 24 hours to come good or up his name goes.

i would say make the final courtesy an email, not a pm.. sometimes people don't frequent this forum, and i don't think the email notifications are working - i haven't got one in weeks.

how did you pay? direct deposit? paypal? if it's paypal, check your paypal o see if the payment has been claimed. If it hasn't, you can cancel it :)

Just be careful not to let it blow up in your face. I had a similar experiance and ended up getting flamed and blamed for the product not being delivered. I'd say do it privatly to protect yourself, too many unsubstantiated untruths can be slung around on a public forum.

The seller is mrcordial and yes it was the DASH head. Still no word. Transfered funds by direct deposit on the 4th of Sept.

Anyone know the guy personally?

i think this is a lesson for us all - get the guy's number before transferring funds.

mind you, it's completely possible that something's happened to him, in which case you'd feel bad for being impatient lol. happened to me once.. bought a phone off a guy who was neighbours with one of my friends.. paid him 800 cash.. he was going on holidays for 2 weeks to malaysia and was gonna buy the phone there and bring it back for me, with a hundred bucks profit for himself - still a bargain, 600 bellow retail here. A month later he's still not back and i'm wondering wtf.. i figured i wouldn't lose my money cos i knew where he lived, but still..

then when he came back another 2 weeks later (a month after he was meant to come back), he called me up and told me he was sorry and he had to stay longer cos his mum was on her deathbed, and died a week ago. Lucky for me i didn't say anything before hearing him out lol. he gave me the phone for 700 - didn't even charge me his profit cos he was late.
