haha my starions give me wood every time I go into the garage woody :D nice to know its not just me lol

Only a few days to go and still got things to do to it.... best get my butt out there :)

Its alive!!!!!!

Friday the 18th my starion started for the first time :D.

They are doing a few odd jobs on it and should have it on the dyno today or tomorrow :)
Will let everyone know how she goes.

Budget??? Starions and budgets dont really go together in my experence lol. Ive spent 5 times more than I planed to at the start! But then its a heaps better car than I ever thought it would be...

Thanks!!! Its a little more cluttered now with vac lines and wiring. But Ill tidy it up some when I get it home :)

I know there's never a budget when comes to Starions . .

was just interested to know approx cost of redoing from scratch but i think vulpes said it. . ill have to dream !

I just love the tidyness of the engine bay . It makes the mechanics of it [which im only just learning] all look so simple starting from scratch like that [ which of course im sure it was'nt! ]

87 GSR-V, Factory DASH, Rebuilt bottom end with arp rod bolts and balance shafts removed, head reconed with 3 angle valve grind, TD05 housing machined out to take Garrett T4 internals, rebuilt and cryoed gearbox

Man,that is mint,Thats one of the best engine bays i've seen.
My guess your budget would of been a nice deposit on a house(In Palmerston North that is)

Its just a run in tune at this stage. So low boost and only up to 4000rpm

Its funny isnt it, I wonder if the guys ( some perhaps now dead ) who screwed these cars together 25 years ago ever thought this kind of love and attention would be lavished on them. imagine inventing a time machine and driving this car back to the factory and showing them. The engineers would have had a fit !
