L300 head onto 4g63 block ...whats it involve?

Tam, swapping heads is a MAJOR job. Dont under estimate how much work is involved in doing it. As they said you need to undo all the ancillaries but that is JUST the beginning. You need to take off the timing belt, making sure when you replace it everything is timed correctly, you need to make sure you torque down all the head bolts in exactly the right sequence, you will need to replace the distributor back into the head and line it up correctly then time the engine. Im no novice but it would be a huge job even for somebody of a lot of exp around engines. By the time you are ready to bolt your new head on you are basically left with just a block sitting in your engine bay. And if you get it wrong you will be blowing a head gasket pretty soon. Dont forget you need to re tighten the head bolts after it has run for a while. Its HUGE !!!
