Now Im a mad mitsubishi man from waaaaay back. Had a couple of factory sigma turbos in the 80's. Has anybody noticed the Wherrett Sigma on car sales for sale. Dead and I mean DEAD original and 92.,000 k's. would be great for a collector. I would buy it but am de-cluttering my life.

hey that's actually a pretty smart intercooler setup on the REALLY cheap eh?

too bad the nose badge is blocking airflow to the scoop LOL

I had a peter wherrett GH sigma 15+ years ago, The motor used to blow so much smoke you could be mistaken for thinking it was a two stroke!
It still went hard, saw 200kph on the speedo quite a few times.
Sold it to a mate for $500 and he drove it everyday for another three years before it got a sticker for the smoke. Bloody good car that was

iguess it is but consider how many would be left in this condition. I imagine it would be a very rare car indeed. It does come with a free evening gown and and a years supply of cover girl though.

my brother had one for a short while, and we raided parts off another that was at jap wreckers locally. i've still got the momo and horn pad etc. the rim was totally gone off the wheel though, got it with my uncle (owns a joinery) to get it re-rimmed..
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.
