So I just got off the phone to dellow and they're fucking amazing. But you have to talk to jeff :)

Every possible combination you can think of is taken care of.

And it's approx $660 for the whole kit.

Also slave cyl, and a few other bits and pieces.

I forgot the full list but it's kind of extensive.

Dellow sell rebuilt ones for around 1k. Ask for the longest shifter position as that is what a starion needs.

just get a w57 the only difference is 5th gear , they come out it 85 celica supras, hilux ? and a few other things , i got one then just tracked down the 20'' shifter housing that i sourced from a blown box , otherwise the import mobs will fleece u hundreds , i think the cheapest one i found was like 550 which is a joke , if u were gonna get a dellow housing it would become an expensive exersise lol :o

so the w57 doesn't have a 5th gear at all or it has a different ratio 5th?

i don't think 1k for a rebuilt box is too much? how much would it cost you to rebuild any box? last quote i had for another car was 1600

to put the dellow box behind you 4g63 youll be looking at 2K to do it properly!

1. bellhousing -$600
2. supra box - $800+
3. supra clutch disk - $200
4. new pressure plate if needed - $200+
5. tailshaft modified - $100

these are just guess prices.

ps. why would you need a slave off dellow you can use your starion one!

w57,58,59 maybe more are the same but different shifter points and different ratios on 5th

1k for a box is a little over the budget for me , i paid 100 for my w57 in my starion it shifts super smooth , if it goes id probably just soucre another second handy . Not really worth spending big dollars on a rebiult one when theres plenty out there for reasonable money . but hey everyones different :beer

So do starions use the 18, 20, 21 or 21.5 inch shifter location?

And are there kits to chop and change/modify this?

everyone is interchangeable between each other they are simple to swap :)
