Nothing hit in the sump / oilpan / pickup.. Used play-doh when we were putting it together.

The squirters missed the piston skirts (CP Stroker Pistons) But we still put a washer under them to be sure. Still miss the crank too.

Really... Everything just bolted in :D

It's alive !!

Well it was... Until the spark side of the crank angle sensor shit itself. We'd just fixed all the little leaks, idling away at 2000rpm running the cam in and burrrrr, died..

Hopefully new cas be here tomorrow morning, run it in for a day then go all out haha... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Fyi - the engine builder is the bloke who had the red lancer at jambo last year and got runner up. That engine was built and tuned the day before jambo, and it's still going.
So i have some faith haha

296.5 rwhp on 11psi, creeping to just under 13psi. Still running fairly fat.
That was only an hour on the dyno just so i can get some kms up on it before we throw a big tune in it tomorrow arvo after driving all night tonight haha :D

So it made 340rwhp on around 16/18 psi. Drove it to bris, then it died the night before powercruise...

It's a timing problem, all 4 pistons are hitting valves. Bending the plugs in etc. Nothing has changed on the outside (no belt jump, no adj cam gear movement) so i'm guessing i've broken a keyway on the crank or cam.. I'll find out this week when i asses the damage. For now it can sit on the car trailer lol..

Good part, still has full 180psi compression across the board. Just the pistons look a bit messy and i don't know what the bores are like till i get the head off.

Oh well, shit happens :(
