Thats it, I am putting my engine upgrades on hold, getting my car fixed up so I can join in on the fun. I will do the upgrades later on next year or so. Will just keep the money in the bank for when I do it. When is the next event?

Woody, if its only a licence for autocross, most clubs have a "day licence" facility for new members. When you get your Level 2S CAMS licence, you get your 'day licence' refunded.

Full list of CAMS affiliated clubs are listed on the CAMS website www.cams.com.au

Hey guys.

Yeah I am aware of the CAMS stuff. I was more referring to getting my car ready.

It is currently getting all these attended to:

Exhaust Gasket installed
Gearbox rear seal replaced
Diff pinion seal replaced
oil pressure switch and oil filter replaced.
both rear CV boots replaced as they are torn.
Grease nipples in front

I also have him looking into my brakes and clutch, as I think they both need doing.

Also need to get fixed is my drag link, and steering box which is leaking badly apparently.

After those are fixed, I should be good to race :D

Just send your cams form with your club membership, the club will give you a temp one to ensure that you can race. Contact Jan on iwmac.org.au.

As for getting the car ready, your mechanic can do those things in a week. I will be able to make the next one and I have just as much to do to get ready for it, so no excuses :D
