i suppose i should share mine..

first car.. 1985 vk commodore.. loved it to bits.. even though it had so many problems.. only mod i know of were performance extractors and exhaust system.. sounded fanbloodytastic.. i do miss the instantanous torque.. but i don't miss the stopping for petrol every 3 hours.. i've actually watched the fuel gauge drop an 8th of the way or so while trying to find parking in a westfields carpark on a busy day :S

for some reason i can only find pics of the rear :S

Image

second car.. 1991 holden nova (corolla really) the most efficient and reliable beast to ever walk the earth.. but a tad gutless.. but this one did really well though.. had done almost 300,000 kms, and the engine was still running strong.. i even had to make a trip once from northern sydney to bowral on the southern highlands, and on the way back, i pushed it to 160 some of the way  5 gear, engine at 5500 rpm...

Image

but i needed something with a bit more power than the corolla, and a bit less thirsty than the commodore.. so i gots myself a starion

lol, oldie.. who told you that??

unfortunately, back in those days, it was rather true.. but i still always tried to stay within my + cars limits

i've actually completely stopped speeding now.. not because i agree that it's safer to go 60 than 70 (i still think that's a load of crap if you drive carefully), but because there are too many coppers these days looking to make extra bucks for the dictatorship we call the rta, instead of fighting actual crime.. but we've been through this can of worms many a time :)
