Project GSR5
Since everyone is posting up their projects I thought I will add mine. Thanks to Wantsom I now have the final piece of my build, so a big thanks to him.
This will be the heart of the build and thanks to Wantsom all the hard work as been done already.
I dread this bit, wiring all this up
Boost Controller that will be used
Will take pics of all the other bits as time goes on.

Re: Project GSR5
That's the easy bit - Gerg has already done the hard yards & all you need to do is plug it together!RiceThief wrote:I dread this bit, wiring all this up
Yell out if you want a hand with it.
Looks like a fun project. Good luck.

Friends call me Ashgan or Ash... But you can call me failchanic. If there's a routine maintenance job that exists on a starion, then chances are i've failed at it.
First attempt fails include:
-Changing indicator light
-Changing spark plugs
-Changing belts
-Changing airfilter
-Changing oil
-Removing rear strut
-Replacing front strut

fark me - is that what happened to my motor, I was wondering where I left it LOL
Bao, the wiring will be surprisingly easy. A lot of the stuff is tagged and ID'd for you plus you have all the manuals and wiring diagrams for both the Haltech and MSD. I left the coils wired to plug straight into the MSD for you. You'll be sweet but always mate, I am but a phone call away if you need anything. :beer
Oh and btw boys and girls, Bao is an absolute top bloke to deal with.

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.
All of this just because he herd that I may be making a comeback to autocross :)
But seriously Bao has been driveing very well and getting faster each event and is sure to be an even tougher competitor when he gets that race tested combo up and running in his GSRV :beer

Lunacy - Im going to run a gt3040 with a .63 housing, hopefully with the smaller housing it wont be too laggy.
Mrbishi - thanks for the offer, will let you know if i need help.
Wantsom - yeah it just magically in my garage but i promise to look after her :D
Oldie - I've seen the firepower you are packing in the JB of yours, it'll be equal to me bringing a capgun while you are bringing a bazooka :P .
Nachoman - if you had procrastinated for another month side widey would be in my driveway :P . Oh well things worked out in the end :) .
bridgey - sorry do u mean what are the specs of the engine or what i am hoping it will put out?

Exciting stuff!
As far as Starion pedigree goes, this set up would be the ultimate! Whether this set-up in a widey would be better is questionable?
I hope the final results put a big smile on your face! :) :) :) Definitely, a special car!

Mal - when its done theres definately going to be lots of :D . To be honest the narrow body suits what i do better, its light and agile, i've gone on to beat the club president who is in my class in what is a stock starion. I've got alot more performance bits to go on, so i will take pics as I get to them as well.
