My new car
Can anyone identify the type of starion this is? I know that it is an 84 but i am trying to find out if i can use parts (ie, doors, panels, interior) in my JA 82 model.
Thnx
Thnx
Yes, just about all Starion parts are interchangeable betweeen the three models JA/JB/JD.
That looks like a JA/JB cross-breed :D What does the chassis number/VIN say?

Thats what NZ new JA's look like.
Flat funny angled bumper thing, no vents
(Not suggesting it is one, but the NZ New JA's I've seen (two) both looked like that)
PS - have a look at a pic on here of a widebody Starion, and then have a look at a normal Starion. If you can't tell the difference, I am coming to Aus to slap you :P eheh - panels are obviously wider is the big difference and its VERY noticable - check it out :D They're awesome.

UK had JD G63 Widebody
So did NZ :) But Im not 100% sure if they were imported from the UK, or genuine NZ new. Two JD's I have seen were both 2L widebodies. I also heard rumour of a 2.6 Widebody in this city.
Tried searching on the net for some pics about it, to double check I was correct, but couldn't find anything. So dunno.
The JD Widebodies I did see, did not look exactly like the US widebodies, but definately were NOT narrow body. Both had LSD, ABS, Leather, 2L DASH Turbo, 230K top speed.
