I guess it's time to come clean...

Post by NachoMan »

Hi everyone.
A lot of people have probably been wondering what has happened to Starion4me's widebody. Well in short, it's mine now.

I flew to Sydney last month to check it out, and decided that I wanted it, so it was put on a truck and hauled over to WA.

So now there's no more secrets, and people can stop asking Jason (Starion4me) who bought his car.

I'll post up some photos and probably update you all on what I've been changing, fixing, adding and modifying on the car in Show and Go eventually.

That is all :beer

I was east-bound across the Nullabor last month near Ceduna, & met a car transporter with a Silver Staz on top (in pole position of course).
Wondered where it was going.

Well done NachoMan

Amazing that it was actually spotted in it's travels!
Yeah it took a while to get to me, even if it was in pole position... :)

Yeah, I think a few people on here will be surprised to hear about me buying this car, particularly as I kinda scoffed at it when I first heard about it. Also a few people didn't expect someone on here to buy it.

Well the GSR-V has a few things to be fixed, and then I'm going to sell it.
I'm going to sell it as a car that someone can just buy and drive without having to worry about fixing anything. I agonised over what to do with it for ages after making the decision to buy Starion4me's Staz.
Bottom line is that I didn't want to modify the car too much because it's such a nice car in great condition.

I also have a JB that will be completed and licenced soonish, and then that will be sold.

I simply have too many 'projects' and I foolishly keep buying new toys, so coming pretty soon will be quite a big Starion sale.

Let me know when your GSR-V is on the market ;)

Friends call me Ashgan or Ash... But you can call me failchanic. If there's a routine maintenance job that exists on a starion, then chances are i've failed at it.

First attempt fails include:
-Changing indicator light
-Changing spark plugs
-Changing belts
-Changing airfilter
-Changing oil
-Removing rear strut
-Replacing front strut
