Went to WSID tonight - very busy only got 3 runs
Was nice to meet another starion owner - Tomsun and co.
Best run was my first one 12.6 @ 113 mph
Fluffed the 2nd - 13.6
3rd was a 12.7
so i bit quicker than my last run 2 years ago. still ran on the same nankang tyres ive been using for almost 5 years. these tyres just dont wear. im starting to wonder if they are made of rubber at all :)

I will start organising the prizes soon. Any suggestions would be awesome.
Or a trophy for each year. Quickest ET. For bragging rights?

UPDATE:
Hey guys.
I have been getting a few people asking about the money side of things.
Yes there will still be a $5 entry fee. BUT we wont be accepting the money until January 1st. This is so we can get more people in on the deal. However, IF we can get a sponsor to donate a prize such as a set of slicks/NOS kit or whatever we decide or can get, The money will go to a trophy or "SET" of trophys for the 1 or top 3 place getters depending on price. I will look into prices at the start of next year.
If anyone can possibly get sponsorship like this, let me know. Other solution is we put the money into purchasing a performance product with the entry money.

I'm really not even in the running... Me being on a shoe-string budget, my car is not in the same league.
But yeah I'll kick $5 in towards a trophy
Perpetual Trophy - Annual Starion Challenge.
Name and State and Year and ET anf MPH to be engraved on the back
Winner to organise and pay for engraving and postage to next years, winner. (Don't accept the trophy, if you don't want to pay for that expense)
The catch... You can only win it once!!! (even if you run a different car)... Don't be greedy.
Heck... I'll even organise the trophy. (Sorry Woody if it looks like I'm trying to take over... I'm just trying to conribute... So, let me know if you want to handle that part... etc???)

I was thinking about that idea as well of having a circulating trophy, but also thought people might prefer to keep a smaller trophy? I also don't mind if someone wants to contribute helping. I just want to make this as fun and profitable for everyone.
Don't worry about budgets either, mine I am sure is close to yours. :beer

Well it looks like all of us are either broke or with broken cars rofl
How far away are some of the competitors in this challenge from putting down a time?
I am broke because i bought a house, and have a addiction to buying mitsubishis. I need to give up this habbit and go back to 2 cars not 5  What's all the others excuses?
