Another oil question cos I still can't quite figure out viscosity ratings.
Castrol website specifies VMX-M 75W/85 for the Starion gearbox
It also says you can use EPX 75W/80
In one of the lists of Starion things I have it lists EPX 80W/90 as gearbox oil. The 80W/90 of the Castrol site says use it in tractors, trucks and a few other things.
My question is, if you use the 80W/90 will it protect any better? Will it crunch until the box is warmed up more than 75W/80 will? Are there any other drawbacks, mine is just a street car?

Man, do you think I can find 75/80 anywhere????? Faaar Out
They all have 80/90, but not thinner stuff. Bloody hell.
8 parts 80/90 gearbag oil + 1 part 20/50 engine oil = 660/9 / 770/9 = 73.33/85.55
