Non-broken switch clusters are not exactly thick on the ground. You can replace the switches with normal throw switches if you want - done that way on my car and it doesn't look too bad (not factory obviously).

You may still be able to get aftermarket replacement guards. Try Sigmawreck in Melbourne - around $130 each.

Nuthin,

Just stating the obvious. I cant sell what I dont have and some things that I do have I dont want to sell because they're hard to come by and I might need them myself later.

Lose your attitude thickhead.

*sprays a water bottle at you both*

wantsom got a bit shitty cos you got a bit shitty at no1 having the parts. Not everything can be found on here, but without this place, you'd be a hundred times worse off trying to find the shit. and be up for wrecking yard prices as well :?

'be grateful for what you can get' i guess he's saying, not 'get shitty for what you can't get'.

My apologies Deecs

Post by WANTSOM »

My apologies for my last post and sorry to hijack it with this reply but some things need to be said about buying and selling parts.

Deecs, you hit it on the head exactly. Some people get crappy because they dont understand that sometimes the parts just arent available (at the time). Thats just the luck of the draw. I think I have been pretty fair with parts and prices over the past 12 months and have helped quite a few people out with bits and pieces.

Guys, if you think I have made a killing on this you would be wrong. Its an expensive outlay buying/stripping/selling cars and sending parts all around the country and doing it properly - Deecs you know how the bonnet was packed to get it to you to Adelaide by road undamaged.

By way of example I have spent about $7,000 in the past 12 months buying Starions for parts and bits that I need for the track car. There is no way I have made $7,000 from selling off the bits I didnt need, but I've done it as a means to help recoup the cost of the track car and if I didnt need the parts then I was and am happy to help someone out who does.

No hard feelings STRION. Just understand that you cant always get what you want, when you want it.

I am now going to dry the water off me from Deecs :D Oh and by the way, and in good humour, to answer your question about whats up my rear end - its a 3.55 LSD.
