So are you taking 52 entries and then culling them to 12?Astron Boy wrote:I would like to open the offer, at this point without confirmation from decoy, I dont want to advert MCA on here, nor do I wish to go behind anyones back.
But it would be nice to have a large variety of Mitsubishis showing for the calendar.
We are accepting 52 entries or greater dependant on the arrangement of the calendar.
will keep you posted.
Hopefully decoy pops his head back in here soon.
Show of interest for appearing in a Calendar

Nope.
We have gone through a few revisions of the Calendar.
First thought was the 12 best cars
Then it went to 11, with December being group shots of state members and cars
Then 52 cars, one for each week of the year
then 47 cars, 5 spots reserved for states.
And now it seems like we will simply be doing a collage.
At this point, we dont have enough entries to know which way we are going.
But we certainly want as many entries and featured cars as possible.

For simple quality reasons I do need shots from 7.1MP
Main reason is we do not know what size the final images will be.
So quality is a must, 5MP falls just below. :(
Wish I could confirm this, I could give out more details and what not.
We are holding photoshoots in each state so if people wanted to get some new shots with top notch cameras at no cost, then it can be done.
However again, I dont wish to give out details without prior permission, though I would like to confirm you guys.

errrr yes?
I'll PM you.
I totally understand about the images needing to be of a certain quality, particularly if they're being enlarged.

Haven't really thought about group shots to be honest.
The only group shots I was thinking of was for the state shots
Ummmmmmmm.
