Dizzy to link

Post by palmystar »

I am trying to run multipoint in one of my cars using the standard dizzy and a link g4 storm. I can't figure out how the wiring with the dizzy and link should be. I am currently using a bosch ignition module. Can anyone help me out??

When you grabbed that multipoint manifold, did you get the optical dizzy off the Galant aswell?
Whakaronga autowreckers should have plenty.I heard you have to use them or are better with A/M ecu's.
My brother has one if you can't find another.

My old MPI setup uses standard Starion dizzy with a Link G1 V4 ecu. The V4 manual shows how to use a single module on a dizzy.
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

Yes i have too many toys.

Went to whakaronga last week and they had no mpi sohc galants on the yard. Only had dohc or carby :? Had about 5 when i grabbed the manifold so should have grabbed it then. went to ace aswell and they had none. And couldn't find an l300 one either.

The guy i brought the link off reakoned it could be run off the standard dizzy but i can't get any results :flush
