Re: ...
i would not think there would be much difference at all!Apparently not.
Performance parts availability for Nissan engines is a lot simpler, and easier to find too.
but anyway im a 4G63 man so im probably fairly bias!
SR20 powered starion what have I done..... :P

performance parts availability for SR's is easier if you only get parts from china :)
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

I think with the sheer volume of cars that were made with the SR20 in them, parts will be easier to find.
I love the 4G63's too. I've owned the SOHC, SOHC DASH, and the DOHC variants, and wouldn't hesitate to buy anything with a 4G in it.
I don't know how it is in the rest of the world, but here in West Oz, SR20 parts sell by the truckload.
There's just not that much call for 4G63 stuff here, because the cars that run that motor are a lot rarer.

Yeah but he can overnight parts from Japan!JD_Stazza_Brendan wrote:Remember he is in the US. No cars sold new there with the SR20.
:D
Anyhoo, I digress...
Seriously though, the bloke to speak to is Starion4me. He's put an SR20 into a widebody, and he did most of the work himself.
He did a great job too!
He's taken a gazillion photos of the process, so anyone could probably use his photos as a procedure of how to do it...

I believe the Nissan Sentra has an SR20 in the US? it's an east west layout for fwd though.. and non-turbo.. pretty much the same car as pulsar i would think

actually importing from japan was how i was going to get the drive train haha
but yeah i keep hearing about the sr powered widebody i was hoping to find the build thread or something on here
Re: ...
i beleive they would all swear by the SR20 cause there is no RWD car that comes with the 4G63 DOHC, so there is no comparision with people in teh drift scenefreetoskate124 wrote: i actually want to drift it and talked to some guys at track days and they swear by the sr20.
