So thats what a quick lap looks like LOL

Two things I notice - you are able to get the power down sooner off the corner - you are back hard on the throttle where I am still feathering a little bringing the car back into balance. I have clued into tyre pressures and temperatures after some reading since then and now the pyro is going to be my friend

Secondly your braking distances are a fair bit shorter but we both the know the issue there (fix the front brakes and grow some bigger nads) and will fix that.

I doubt I will catch you though LOL

Good videos Mark and clearly you are working hard and having a good go. :beer

Mark was doing low 1:20's and finally cracked a 1:19 at the end of the day. Track distance for that layout is 2.6km's.

Yeah you simply can't beat the traction of an all wheel drive.

Greg,
Just for a laugh i looked up my lap time i did in my lancer gsr when it was still stock apart from a 3 inch exhaust, front mount. The car was still on road tyres and did a best of 1:29.7860. This just goes to show how much of a difference 4wd really makes.

Having said that i would rather drive my starion there any day of the week :D I think people forget it is all about fun sometimes.

After looking at various laps on the data logger I should be able to do a mid 18 which is where I should be looking at my times at other tracks.

People always comment about the 4wd traction which is very good of course however the raw corner speed in the EVO is just as impressive.

I sort of got the hang of Oran Park GP by the end of the day, if I went back I could have a real good go first up. It's not an easy track for sure.

Actually it's quite different. The EVO is a real challenge to drive quick because the car is so fast it's more "farrrk hang on" :D

So how much power does that evo produce? Noticed another blue one flew past you but you had most of the competition down.

Mine has 253wkW. The blue one passed me yes but I eased out to let him past under brakes, that's the fastest part of the circuit (130mph) a bit hairy I was just about to turn in when I noticed him just off my left rear quarter! As I understand it the blue EVO has just over 300wkW.
