Another Starion bites the dusts

Post by spinners »

Picked up a 87 Ex starion in Wellington for $2000 2 weeks ago,

Stripped it,Kept the diff and interior
Sold most of the other parts for $2400(They went like hotcakes)

So ended up making $400 profit and got the Mint 3.545 LSD and black leather interior for free  .
Not bad for 2 weeks work :beer

Was the chassis rusted or are you just an evil man? :?
Starions are a disease, the only cure is poverty.

Chassis was fine,Had rust where the factory 3 peice spoiler was but the worst was below the windscreen under the plastic trim and along the firewall
It was fixable but wanted the interior and diff as was sick of having the burgundy(Gay pride :x ) interior in my Starion so it ended up being my 7th parts car over a 8 year period :D

It looked pretty messy when i saw it - better off using it to keep nicer starions on the road i reckon...

Was good to meet you the other day btw spinners - i haven't met too many fellow starion owners since i got my one...
