Had a look in to my gun mechanics workshop and was pleasantly suprised to see it sitting in place ready to start the manifolds & a pile of useless wireing loom out of the engine bay & under the hatchThe original wireing from the Haltec were rat shit as they were all the same colour wonderfull for tracing any faults :x Lee has now rewired with colour coded wires to match the Haltec plug :D Now deciding what turbo to make from his extensive collection of parts maybe a 3576

The heat will be on as soon as we get our hands on one of Gregs u beaut thermostat adaptors

The plan was 4 my no1 son GURU to do the TC when he finally got hold of what he calls "his inheritance " However it was bought forward due to a crappy tune where the maps were up & down like a yoyo which led to detonation at QR (Derek was there taking pics and could hear it ) and ended up melting the earth electrode off as well as breaking the centre electrode off a plug bending 2 ex valves & scoreing the bore also discovered tuner had put hotter plugs in when should've been colder :wtf:pissed off would be the understatement of the yearkiwieurospec wrote:Looks good, Is there a good reason why you ditched the sohc head so soon after the stroker bottom end was fitted? So now the pistons rods & crank with new rings& bearings are now in a new bored& torque plate honed block and my engine builder will be the only person to lay a spanner on it in future
Only went TC because I had a GSR motor already & Lee suggested why not do it now

Just back from checking on progress and it's looking good
Inlet mani is on for a temporary fit so injector loom is done and I have taken the EF 70 mm tb to Lee so he can fit it up to the front of the im
Hopefully Wantsoms TS housing will turn up Monday so that I can get it to Lee along with my new 9mm Qld Ignition Leads spark plug leads that will hook up to the 4 LS1coils mounted on the inner guard

Inlet manifold complete with EF tb pointing the right way .exhaust made but still has the ex w/gate to be done .Hope to find out the split entry turbo specs this week.Will send pics of ex mf to Derek to post :)
