Want to list my EX FLAT BONNET, whats it worth?

Post by Tamgesic »

Just about to list the flat bonnet without the scoop which are pretty rare off the EX Euro spec Starion I have just bought as a parts car.

When listing on trade me you need to put a reserve price and i really have no idea what i should ask for it.?

I know they are hard to come by though, and need as much as i can get to fund getting my Starion up to scratch before the engine blows as the balance shafts need doing and there is stuff all spark

What would you pay ?

What would you sell for if you were selling one?

cheers

Hate to sound like a cynic but its only worth what someone is willing to pay.
As far as i know, most people seem to like the vented hoods better as they add a more aggresive touch to the car.
Add to that alot of people dont have lots of $$$ to spend at the moment with the current financial shambles, so mite be worth thinking about holding onto it for awhile.
If you're gonna list it now id say you'd be doing well if you got $200 for it.
Others may have other opinions, thats just my 0.02 cents :)

in NZ it's worth not much, probably the same price as the vented bonnet.

I sold mine for $100 recently.

To be honest I like the flat bonnets way more then the scooped, especially if your going for the full late model front.
I had both on mine and I thought the scooped bonnet was to much.

Hey Tam do you want to get rid of the front bumper and spotlights/indicators?
If they're in good nick I'll give you a good price!
