And after 9 months of trying to figure out why it was doing this. Diagnosing everything i could (and lots of other people) could think of...
Image

I got the shits, pulled it apart and found this.... Also cracked in 3 places and scored the bore.
Cause - jet valve head. no 3 jet valve wasn't sealing. Oil getting into fuel mixture = fail. Thats what i've been told.. ?? (the sealing part)
Image

So now the game plan..

Buying Rad's SOHC head (Old fart i think on here?)
New block or sleeve the one i have and hone the other bores.. What should i do??
New rings, bearings, gaskets etc etc. Basically tidy everything up and freshen everything up.
Send flywheel down to NPC, redrilled to fit skyline style clutch (bigger). 600hp NPC custom clutch. 5 puck brass button.
Do something with the diff... I know i shouldn't weld it.. But only other option is a complete diff conversion :(

Heap of other small stuff also. I'll keep pics and update you's as much as possible.

Hoping to be back on the road in about 3 weeks.

Aaaand just so you guys know i don't do something half assed.. A pic of my el camino in all its glory :D

Now has a dead auto.. I wonder why... rofl

on that note, a word of advice.. use paint or photoshop to blank out your number plates before putting the pics up... your car can obviously still be found considering the uniqueness, but it'd require a bit more effort rather than handing them your head on a titanium platter

Welcome :D
You can see in one of the pics where i'm able to plumb it back in with 4 allen key bolts.. I done that about a day before i got done.

Hint for all you fellas out there. If a Black VE SSV ute with mags, tint, exhuast and lowering takes off from a set of lights...
DON'T put it in second, put the clutch in, hit the limiter and dump the clutch, proceeding to go past the (at this time unknown) unmarked cop car sideways billowing smoke..

6 points and $500 later... I've learnt from my mistakes lol

cops don't bother look UNDER the car, so they wouldn't see the screamer pipe.. they would see the bov as soon as the bonnet is up eh

i've stopped doing silly shit on the road..

i'll tell you what i find funny though.. sydney police have started doing "random" breath tests on tuesday nights, on all major roads leading out of the city..

how many people do they think go out to the city for a drink on a tuesday night??

I wish... The cops that pulled me up went right through everything. Underneath, brakes, even had one crawl under the back, dunno what he was looking for though.
