Does anyone have a clutch and pressure plate out of a late 80s L200 one tonne ute?

2L or 2.6L?
There were some new ones on Trademe for the 2l narrow block 4g63 for $100 (clutch, pressure plate and thrust bearing)

2.6 is a wideblock so I guess you could use a Starion one, which I might have a decent one lying around. :)

preferably 2l as i run the DASH and dunno if a 2.6 would fit....
the reason i want an L200 one is that the one tonne sport ute ran a 4g63 but obviously being a one tonne ute was very heavy duty and fits straight in...

a standard L200 clutch and pressure plate would be no more durable than a stock Starion clutch and pressure plate - I'm pretty sure the clutch disc diameter is larger in the Starion than it is in the L200 too. Just because they both run 4G63s doesn't mean it's the same - by that logic everything from an evo 9 4G63 from 2006 would be 100% compatable with the 4G63 in my 1980 Eterna. Do you honestly think Mitsubishi would beef up a L200 clutch but completely skimp on their prestige sports car (of the time)?

ok so maybe i wasnt clear in that they both run 80s rwd 4g63s but i know for a fact that the clutch and pressure out of a L200 one tonne does fit straight in and as it isnt the standard ute it did get a heavier duty one. I have had it recommended to me by a friend who has done it

Buy a cheap new plate, then take your cover in to clutch systems or similar and have them beef it up.

I'd be looking at diesel 4x4 plates from early L200/300 or Pajeros the spines are the same not sure on diameter.
