Interior, seats , dash etc in pretty good nick, carpets and vinyl bits too but all fallin to bits a tad

Heres the ONE bit of rust on a 1983 car!! Amazing! two fingers wide so if BIGD knows of a good panelbeater in whg or anyone knows of a way to kind of patch it that would be much appreciated

See when you close drivers door you can fit the tip of fingers in the gap..hmm?

This is where the door card is comming off on drivers door, one of clips seem to be missing and it just sits all loose like its ab out to fall of any second

The mags are 4 stud

comes with the factory intercooler

Thats all i know and havent done research yet to find out which is which when it comes to telling which type starion you have

Has the digital dash too if that helps

This is the back, with the ultra modern cream with brown vinyl and the brown and cream striped seat belts all curved like a big lunge suite! Nice little 6x9's and enough room for carseat and child !! Thought id never own a 2 door car with children but doors are so long that its not actually a hassle

Not a great pic [ these were all taken with phone camera ] but a little pic of the rear. Has a bigger tip on the end which i quite like but crying out for a nice larger downpipe and exhaust as still just all factory

I like the Brake pedal but you can see above it there is a hole in the lower dash piece, no big drama, would be nice to eventually fix it

It says i can make a video and post through image shack so might try it and see what happens so all you people who know their Starions inside out could possibly listen to the noise its making and figure out whats wrong, i dont like it , doesnt seem to be belts and does seem to be coming from engine

Tam , from what i can work out , i think it is a GSR III but it should
have also trip computer and a different stereo to the other JA's

that console can be fixed !! :D at burson auto here in aust it is called
Q-bond it is a super glue bt is 10 x stronger than normal comes with
bonding powders to put on the inside !!! Ive used it , unbeliveable stuff

ok , might be able to find similar stuff over here but does it look like a console thats been glued together afterwards?

My main CONCERNS are:

The noise its making when you give it a blip on the gas right as the revs are comin back down

The driver door is a bit of a worry just because it doesnt close up tighly and the door card is just kind of sitting there ready to fall off the first time my daughter grabs it and the seat belt is a warrant issue and a regular pain in the butt!! For a warrant seatbelts need to retract easily and quickly. This one needs to be fed back through , thats if you can actually get it out to start off with ,. every time you manage to pull a bit of the belt up it jams every inch or so . My boyfriend just things some pledge grab it will work [ and yes it worked on another car of mine in the past ] but i dont agree , to me i dont think it has to do with the greasiness of the belt, i think there muxt be something wrong with the mechanism?

Anyway anyone know how to fix the rip in the lining? Without totally redoing interior or hood lining? Maybe superglue could work for this one too? Kidding .
Im not too worried about it at the mo, its quite big but the guy i bought it off has taped it with the same colour tape as roof lining quite well. Heres a pic...

Here's the hole in the back right tail light, i have some tail lights off my mans old one but these ones are tinted and I quite like them so hoping there is some quick easy cheap way to patch it up somehow? Just so its warrantable
