I hope you have done some research on the cost of bringing one in. No change from $12K these days from Japan.

The other option is, buy one from the US for around half the price and convert over to RHD. It will probably end up costing you more...

Or if you have friends in the panel beating business, buy a run down one from the US with little rust and convert
your own JD into a widey! The rear quarter panels would be trickiest....

I believe your JD is silver. Silver widey....very nice!

If you spent a couple of minutes searching this forum you would have found two widebodies (both in Sydney) for sale.

If you are serious PM me.

Mal for 19K I'd want a starion that at least had a gearstick boot and not a worn steering wheel, if these are just two items you can see from the pics I can only imagine what else lies beneath. Not to mention the fact that you are spending $19k to buy a starion with a crappy old sigma motor in it. Never understood why the yanks didnt get the more modern, smaller, lighter quieter sirius engine rather than the astron ? I reckon youd be spending another 5 to 10k to bring it up to immaculate.

Yanks like torqey motors, something the 2.6 is good for. And wasnt the 2.6 brought in to meet new emmisions in other countrys like UK and Japan.
